Obviously, we like eating jerky, and – despite our strong love of grass-fed beef – we also like eating plants. So it was only a matter of time before we looked at a plant and said, “Can we turn that into jerky? And more importantly, can we turn that into jerky that’s just as delicious as our healthy beef jerky?” That plant was the king oyster mushroom and the answer was yes, yes we can. In our not-so-humble opinion, our plant-based jerky holds its own against meat-based jerky when it comes to taste and texture. And it’s definitely the best plant-based jerky we’ve ever tried.
